Registration for the 2023-2024 Season is now closed.
The Henrico Police Athletic League Dance Program is organized dance instruction that teaches elementary and middle school girls the art of movement. In the program, the girls learn rhythm, stretching, technique, and choreography. A variety of dance styles are taught including jazz, hip-hop, tap, and cotemporary. Each program has opportunities to perform!

Henrico PAL Majestic Dynasty Program Details
After School Dance Program 'Henrico Majestic Vibe'
Each after school site has a dance class one day a week for an hour. The students learn a variety of dances throughout the school year. The school year ends with a performance at the site for the other students, parents, and staff.
Stand Alone Dance Program and Performance Group ‘Henrico Majestic Spirit”
Henrico PAL also offers dance on Thursday nights. The dance program meets on Thursdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at either Adams Elementary School or Eastern Henrico Recreation Center. These dancers have the option to come and enjoy the art of dance as well as to perform throughout the Richmond community. In order to participate in the Henrico Majestic Spirit performance team, there is a tryout process. The dance program has performed at various school events and community events including the Richmond Kickers and Richmond Dominion Energy Christmas Parade.
Competition Team “The Henrico Majestic Royalty”
The Henrico Majestic Spirit is the competition team for Henrico PAL. This team consists of young ladies from 4th grade through high school. These ladies compete locally and throughout the state. They recently won the title of Grand Champions at The One Finals in Virginia Beach and Orlando, FL! To participate in the competition team, young ladies need to have previously participated in either the Henrico Pal after school dance program or performance group and be in at least the 4th grade.
Advanced Leadership Team “The Henrico Majestic Royalty ELITE”
The Henrico Majestic Royalty ELITE is the competition and leadership team for Henrico PAL Dance Program. This team consists of young ladies from 6th grade through high school. These ladies compete locally and throughout the state just like the Majestic Royalty. In addition, they also do additional dance trainings to increase their skills and talent. They get to transition into leadership roles in the dance program and get to serve as coaches to the various levels of the program. To participate in the ELITE team, young ladies need to have previously participated on the Henrico Majestic Royalty competition team and be in 7th grade or higher. They need to show passion, dedication, hard work, and mastery of certain skills to be apart of this team.

Our dance team has now won three consecutive national championships!
In 2019 our Majestic Spirit Dance Team received honor from the Henrico County Board of Supervisors for their first place victory in "The One" national competition hosted in Orlando, Florida. The Dance team was presented with a resolution commending them for their accomplishment! |
