After School Program 2024-2025 Registration will begin Thursday, June 20th @ 10:00am
The Henrico Police Athletic League (HPAL) After School Program is designed to provide Henrico's youth with a safe environment, while participating in a wide variety of educational and recreational opportunities. HPAL's After School Program encourages participants to broaden their horizons and focuses on developing positive relationships between police officers and youth while engaging in enriching experiences. Each location is supervised by site managers and staffed with police officers, school teachers, athletic coaches, and college students. Each site helps with homework and opportunities to participate in various programs; such as, the Childhood Obesity Prevention Program, Sports & Fitness Clinics, Youth Safety, Chess, and Dance programs, and the Arts and Crafts program sponsored by the Cultural Arts Center of Glen Allen. A snack and a full course nutritional dinner is provided daily. We follow the Henrico County School Schedule, on half days and holidays our program is closed as well.
