The Henrico Police Athletic League is glad to announce its FREE Chess Club for Children (Ages 6-18) AND Adults (Ages 18 and up). Chess Club will be held every Friday afternoon from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Belmont Recreation Center.
Participants should be at least vaguely familiar with the game of chess, but this is not mandatory. Informal lessons will be provided to those unfamiliar with the game of chess. As the program expands, we will be organizing more events!! Join us for a place to play or watch games, opportunities to bring your chess knowledge to others, club tournaments and more!! Remember all ages are welcome.
