Job Description Title: After School Program Counselor Qualifications: Possess a high school diploma, valid VA driver’s license, capable of passing a criminal background check and drug test, CPR certified, and previous experience working with youth Duties and Responsibilities: After School Program Counselor will report directly to the After-School Program Site Manager and assist in the supervision of elementary and middle school students in the After-School Programs located in the West End and/or East End of Henrico County. Ability to follow instructions, multi-task and work with other community partners Assist in creating, organizing and instructing a recreation program for youth, including homework assistance, arts and crafts, athletic activities, and special interest activities Work under the supervision of the After-School Program Site Manager May supervise volunteers and/or other staff members in absence of supervisor Must be able to take charge and direct children in case of an emergency This position is eligible for full time employment during our 8 Week Summer Camp This is a part time position currently and qualifies for no benefits
After School Program Van Driver 15 Hours minimum /Week $12-$14 an hour depending on experience Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday from 1:45 pm to 4:45 pm
Qualifications: Possess a valid VA driver’s license, a verifiable good driving record, high school diploma, pass a criminal background, drug test, and previous experience working with youth. Must be CPR Certified. Duties and Responsibilities: The Van Driver Position will report directly to the After-School Program Site Manager, provide student pick up from Eastern and/or Western Henrico County Schools and when needed assist in the supervision of students in the After-School Program Ability to operate a 15-passenger van, transport students from their respective school to the After-School Program site in Eastern or Western Henrico County Assist in creating, organizing and instructing a recreation program for youth, including homework assistance, arts and crafts, athletic activities, and special interest activities Work under the supervision of the After-School Program Site Manager May supervise volunteers in absence of supervisor Must be able to take charge and direct children in case of an emergency This is a part time position currently and qualifies for no benefits
After School Program Bus Drivers 30 Hours minimum /Bi-weekly $16 an Hours to start Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday from 1:45pm to or 3:45pm or 4:45pm
Qualifications: Possess a valid VA Commercial Driver’s License, a verifiable good driving record, high school diploma, pass a criminal background, drug test, and experience working with youth would be helpful Duties and Responsibilities: The Bus Driver Position will report directly to the After School Program Site Manager, provide student pick up from Eastern and/or Western Henrico County Schools and when needed assist in the supervision of students in the After School Program Ability to operate a 30+ passenger bus, transport students from their respective school to the After-School Program site in Eastern or Western Henrico County Assist in creating, organizing and instructing a recreation program for youth, including homework assistance, arts and crafts, athletic activities, and special interest activities Work under the supervision of the After-School Program Site Manager May supervise volunteers and/or other staff members in absence of supervisor Must be able to take charge and direct children in case of an emergency This is a part time position at this time and qualifies for no benefits
