Each year during our Summer Camp we host a Community Day . On this day we teach our youth that being of service to your community and others is one of the most valuable lessons we can learn as human beings. This year we have decided for community day to support our local Henrico Food Bank by doing a food drive. Food insecurity in our County is a hidden secret and a huge need!!! With that being said Henrico PAL and our youth need your help! We have set a goal to collect enough perishable goods to produce 2,000 meals that’s roughy 3,000 non perishable items. We are humbly asking our Community Partners to help support this community effort in a number of ways!
1) Consider posting, promoting and disseminating the Community Day Flyer to your network! 2) Consider making a personal donation of a non perishable items to owner of our drop off locations! 3) Consider donating gift cards from a local grocery store to purchase non perishable item! |
