Each year Henrico PAL serves over 2,500 youth.
With the help of our sponsors we are able to provide programs that support those families in Henrico County, VA.
Henrico Police Athletic League (Henrico PAL) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and we rely on the generosity of extraordinary citizens and corporations to provide the resources to keep our youth active, productive, and safe. Thank you to all County of Henrico organizations and staff who help make Henrico PAL successful with their contributions and service.
The mission of Henrico PAL is to provide a high quality and safe environment for at-risk youth between the ages of 5 and 18 through educational, athletic and social programs, while creating a positive relationship between police officers and youth. Since our inception in 2007, over 25,000 children have participated in Henrico PAL sponsored programs and events; such as, Henrico PAL's After School Programs where over 50% of participants achieve honor role. Henrico PAL also offers a variety of free educational, recreational, and athletic programs, including Chess Club, Dance, and Open Gym Night. Henrico PAL helps Virginia's youth prepare for college, careers, and citizenship with our Youth Leadership Council (YLC). These programs provide powerful alternatives to gangs, drugs, and violence and we couldn't do it without the support of Henrico County Public Schools, Henrico County Division of Police, Henrico County Parks and Recreation and the Henrico County Manager and Board of Supervisors.
Thank you for all you do!
