The Henrico PAL Youth Leadership Council cordially invites all CAREER MINDED teenagers to our YLC Open House.  The event will allow interested teens to meet Henrico PAL YLC Members, learn more about the Youth Leadership Council and register to become a member if interested.  Refreshments will be served at the Open House.  The Henrico PAL YLC Open House is scheduled for Monday, September 22nd at the Henrico County Training Center, located at 7701 E. Parham Rd. from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.  The Henrico Police Athletic League Youth Leadership Council is designed to expose career minded youth from ages 13 to 18 years old to the many facets of leadership development. 

After School Registration is now CLOSED!  If you would like to add your child's name to the waitlist please send an e-mail containing your name, the child's attending school and a contact number to with the subject line "Waitlist".

Your Henrico PAL is pleased to announce that Henrico County Government is currently accepting applications for 2 full time Police Support Technican I positions to be assigned to the Henrico Police Athletic League (PAL).  Apply by visiting  The job description and qualifications are listed under "Public Safety/School Safety".  The application deadline is Monday, September 22, 2014.  These job openings are Henrico County Government positons.

On February 6, 2014, The Henrico Police Athletic League held its 5th Annual Awards Banquet at The Cultural Arts Center of Glen Allen. The ceremony was a celebration of the accomplishments of Henrico PAL in 2013, and also served as a means to honor and recognize the outstanding contributions of the 2013 Award Winners.  The Award Banquet was led by Henrico County Juvenile Domestic Court Judge Denis Soden, who served as Master of Ceremony and NFL Running back Tim Hightower served as the keynote speaker. His message to those in attendance was titled, “A Purpose Driven Life”, which received a resounding ovation.

The ceremony was attended by Henrico County Board of Supervisors David A. Kaechele, Patricia S. O’Bannon, Frank J. Thornton and Tyrone E. Nelson, Henrico County Manager John Vithoulkis, Elected School Board Members Beverly Cooke, John Montgomery Jr., and Lamont Bagby, Henrico County Commonwealth Attorney Shannon Taylor, Henrico County Police Chief Doug Middleton, other dignitaries, Police Officers, Henrico PAL Board Members, employees, supporters, and volunteers. 

The Henrico PAL Award Winners for 2013 were:  Richmond BMW (2013 Golf Tournament Significant Supporter), Jim & Christi Dowd (2013 Significant Supporter), Henrico County Schools-Pupil Transportation (2013 Summer Camp Supporter), Morgan Lewis (2013 Youth of the Year), Dale Alexander (2013 Volunteer of the Year), Lowell Thomas (2013 Employee of the Year), Victor Williams (2013 Board Member of the Year).  CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF THE 2013 HENRICO PAL AWARD WINNERS!!!
