    After School Program

    The Fourth Annual Henrico PAL After School Program is designed to provide Henrico County’s youth with a safe environment, while participating in a wide variety of educational and recreational opportunities.

  • Summer Camp is designed to provide Henrico County’s youth with a safe environment, while participating in a wide variety of educational, athletic, and recreational activities.

    Participants will engage in a soccer clinic, baseball and softball clinic, basketball clinic, weekly karate lessons, weekly rollerskating, bowling, educational museum tours, trips to the library, and much more.

The camp is designed for boys and girls, 6 to 15 years old of all skill levels, and focuses on improving and enhancing the basic essential skills of individual and team play.

Free Henrico PAL Youth Golf Program

The Henrico PAL Youth Golf Program for ages 8 to 18 is scheduled to start on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 @ 4:30 pm at First Tee, located at 400 School Street, Richmond, VA 23222. If you’re interested in participating in this FREE Youth Golf Program, just bring your completed registration form to First Tee.

The program dates are: 3/27, 4/3, 4/17, 4/28. 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 5/29 & 6/5.

6th Annual Johnny Newman Basketball Camp Registration is NOW Open

The camp dates will be August 13-16 2012 (Monday through Thursday) @ 7:45 am to 4:00 pm and located at Highland Springs High School, 15 S. Oak Avenue in Highland Springs, VA. The cost is $85.00, which includes t-shirt, trophy, Henrico PAL backpack, camp certificate, and lunch daily.

All registration forms MUST be accompanied by check and/or money order and mailed or hand delivered to the Henrico Police Athletic League Administrative Office, located at 8655 Staples Mill Rd, Henrico, VA 23228 July 25, 2012 @ 3:30 pm.

Free Open Gym Night

We are proud to announce the establishment of free “Open Gym Night.”

Open Gym Night began on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 and will run every Wednesday night from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

The purpose of "Open Gym Night” is to provide youth 9 to 17 years old with a safe haven while playing basketball, other indoor sports, and hanging out with other well behaved youths.

Open Gym Night will be supervised by Henrico police officers, Henrico PAL staff members, and volunteers. In order to participate, a registration form and code of conduct must be filled out by a parent and/or guardian. All participants under the age of 15 years old MUST be signed out by a responsible adult.
