Your Henrico Police Athletic League is glad to announce the FREE Chess Club starting on Fridays, April 24, 2015 @ 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, held at the Henrico County Training Center, located at 7701 E. Parham Rd.  The Chess Club is designed to allow youth ages 6 to 18 to engage in the game of chess on a weekly basis under the supervision of  Henrico PAL Chess Instructors.  Instruction will be provided to those young unfamiliar with the game of chess. A registration form can be obtained under the documents tab.  

2015 Summer Camp Online Registration will open on Friday, March 13th at 6 p.m. for both the Harvie and Maude Trevvett locations. Please click on the link below which will direct you to for online registration.

2015 Johnny Newman Basketball Camp Registration Information is now availabe!  For more information please read the "2015 Johnny Newman Basketball Camp Annoucement" which can be found under the documents tab. 

For the third year, Henrico PAL is seeking boys ages 12 to 14 years old to participate in the Richmond PAL Flag Football League.  This  FREE  program is first come, first serve to the first 10 registered youth.    The “Sports Contract Waiver” and “Flag Football Registration Form”, located under the documents tab, must be filled out and mailed or hand delivered before Friday, April 3, 2015 to:

The Flag Football League starts on Saturday, April 25, 2015 and games are scheduled between 12 noon and 3:00 pm.  The League runs for 6 weeks ending on May 30, 2015.

On February 5, 2015, The Henrico Police Athletic League held its 6th Annual Awards Banquet at The Cultural Arts Center of Glen Allen. The ceremony was a celebration of the accomplishments of Henrico PAL in 2014, and also served as a means to honor and recognize the outstanding contributions of the 2014 Award Winners.  The Award Banquet was led by Henrico County Juvenile Domestic Court Judge Denis Soden, who served as Master of Ceremony.  The keynote speaker for the event was Former Harlem Globetrotter Melvin Adams, who was not only entertaining but stressed the importance of giving back to the community.
The ceremony was attended by Henrico County Board of Supervisors David A. Kaechele, P and Tyrone E. Nelson, Henrico County Manager John Vithoulkis, Commonwealth Attorney Shannon Taylor, Henrico County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Patrick Kinlaw, Henrico County Police Chief Doug Middleton, other dignitaries, Police Officers, Henrico PAL Board Members, employees, supporters, volunteers, and families.
The Henrico PAL Award Winners for 2014 were:  Richmond International Raceway (2014 Significant Supporter), Richmond Strikers Soccer Club (2014 Significant Supporter), Henrico County Schools-Pupil Transportation (2014 Summer Camp Supporter), Bruce Richardson, Jr. (2014 Youth of the Year), Sandra Williams (2014 Volunteer of the Year), Thomas Williams (2014 Employee of the Year), Mikki Pleasants (2014 Board Member of the Year), and Michelle Sheehan (2014 Police Officer of the Year)  CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF THE 2014 HENRICO PAL AWARD WINNERS!!!

On Wednesday, February 4, 2015, Henrico PAL Alumni Robert “Tank” Scott, a senior at Highland Springs H.S. signed his “Letter of Intent” to play college football and attend the Army Academy at West Point. Tank attended the very first Henrico PAL Summer Camps and After School Programs.  We are extremely proud of Tank and will follow his academic and athletic career as he continues to develop into an outstanding citizen.  CONGRATS ROBERT “TANK” SCOTT!!
