Henrico PAL 2021Award Winners
On Thursday, October 28, 2021, The Henrico Police Athletic League held its 11th Annual Awards Banquet at The Westin Hotel. The ceremony was a celebration of the accomplishments of Henrico PAL, while also serving as a means to honor and recognize the outstanding contributions of our Award Winners. The Award Banquet was led by Henrico PAL Board Member Dr. Michelle McQueen-Williams who served as Mistress of Ceremony. Rev. Joseph Ellison provided the opening prayer and benediction. The keynote speaker for the event was Former Miss America Heather French-Henry.
Additionally, National PAL CEO Jeff Hood brought greetings from the National Police Athletic/Activities League. Henrico County Police Chief Eric English, Henrico County Board of Supervisor Frank Thornton and County Manager John Vithoulkas brought greetings from the Henrico County Board of Supervisors. Closing remarks were rendered by Henrico PAL Board President Johnny Newman.
The ceremony was attended by a host of Henrico County Government Officials, other dignitaries, Police Officers, Henrico PAL Board Members, Employees, Youth Leadership Council Members, Supporters, Volunteers, and Families.

Henrico County Public Schools-Nutrition Services (Summer Camp Supporter), Henrico County Public Schools-Pupil Transportation (Summer Camp Supporter), Feed More-Kids Café (After School Program), St. Christopher's (Wrestling Program-Supporter), Facebook (STEM-Sponsor), Richmond Strikers (Summer Camp Supporter), Tuckahoe Sports, Inc (Summer Camp Supporter), Richmond Volleyball (Summer Camp Supporter), and Cultural Arts Center of Glen Allen (After School Program).
Royce Mulholland and TyVaughn Eldridge were recognized posthumous for their significant contributions to the organization.

The Henrico PAL Award Winners were: Brent Douthat (Volunteer of the Year), Kiersten Wright (Youth of the Year), Kevin Pegeas (Employee of the Year), Sgt. Damon Allen (Police Officer of the Year), and Bruce Richardson Sr. (Board Member of the Year).
