HENRICO PAL 2018 SUMMER CAMP ANNOUNCEMENT

                            

The Eleventh Annual Henrico PAL Summer Camp is designed to provide Henrico County’s youth with a safe environment, while participating in a wide variety of educational, athletic, and recreational activities.  Participants will engage in swimming lessons; soccer, volleyball, baseball and softball clinics; childhood obesity prevention program, roller-skating, bowling, educational museum tours, Richmond Flying Squirrels Baseball Game and much more.  Henrico PAL campers will also enjoy field trips every Thursday to: Kings Dominion, Buckroe Beach, Pocahontas State Park, Lake Anna, and the Washington Mystics.  The Henrico PAL Summer Camp encourages its participants to broaden their horizons, and focuses on developing positive relationships between police officers and youths while engaging in enriching experiences.

Registration will Open to the Public 8AM Friday, March 9th

 Cost is $775.00 and includes all tickets, activity fees, and transportation.
Meal Service will not start until the second week – June 25th.

Deposit of $250.00 due at time of registration – Full balance due by May 27, 2018

No refunds after 5/27/18

Summer Camp details:

  • Children between the ages of 6-13 as of June 18, 2018
  • Must be a Henrico County Resident and all Henrico PAL accounts must be in good standing
  • Camp hours are 7:45 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday (A separate camp for artists will be offered on Friday’s only and will also open for registration on the same dates as Summer Camp.)
  • Summer camp dates are M-Th, June 18 - August 9, 2018
  • Drop off and pick up locations are:

Baker Elementary School – 6651 Willson Rd. 23231

Brookland Middle School – 9200 Lydell Dr. 23228 (Chamberlayne ASP will go to Brookland)

Harvie Elementary School - 3401 Harvie Rd. 23223

TO REGISTER:

Create an account by clicking on the LOGIN tab. Once you create your username, login, and enter in your personal information, you can click on REGISTRATION. Enter your child’s information and then you will see a button next to their name - “X number of Programs Available”. Click on the button and select the summer camp site closest to your home. You will need your child’s insurance and doctor’s information to complete the questions. PLEASE NOTE: Henrico PAL's medication policy is that we will only administer EpiPen's. inhalers, and liquid Benedryl. We DO NOT administer any other medications.

In the payment section, you may pay in full or select “Summer Camp payment plan”. The registration fee is $250 per child and you may purchase an additional camp shirt for $10. To complete the registration process, you will need to submit the proper forms to Henrico PAL before Summer Camp begins. The administrative office is open M-F from 9:30-4:30.
